About the Role

As a Server at Union Latinos, you’ll play an important role in creating a memorable experience for every guest. You’ll provide attentive service, showcase our food and drinks, and help bring the energy and hospitality of our restaurant to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Have a strong knowledge of our menu, drinks and daily specials.
- Make recommendations and answer guest questions about menu items.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check in with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism.
- Process payments and handle cash accurately.
- Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas.
- Communicate effectively with both Front and Back of House members.
- Follow all restaurant, food safety and service standards.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is attentive, reliable and comfortable working in a lively restaurant environment. You understand that great service is about more than simply taking an order; it’s about making people feel welcome and giving them a reason to come back.


  • Previous serving or restaurant experience is preferred.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Friendly, positive and professional attitude.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (if needed).

  • Availability for late-night shifts, including Fridays and Saturdays until approximately 3:00 AM, is an asset.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada, with a valid SIN number.

  • Serving It Right certification is required.

  • FOODSAFE Level 1 is an asset.

  • Fluency in Spanish is a strong asset.
